My cousin’s an alcoholic, and really needs treatment. I promised him I’d help him find an alcohol rehab center. We live in Crossville, Tennessee. How am I going to get information about rehab centers?

You can always start by asking a healthcare provider or a doctor for recommendations. Looking through the phone directory and calling up different rehab centers would be good too. You can also call a helpline number to consult them and ask for advice.

I work in a nearby hospital, not CMC, but I suggest you call up their switchboard and ask to talk to social services. If they aren’t available, the ER should be able to give you numbers to local places. If they won’t help you, call Roane Medical ER, 865-882-4379. I know for a fact they have a list of several different places.
